Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Efficient Waste Collection
  Execute waste collection duties along established routes, operating company vehicles and equipment safely to ensure all containers are emptied according to schedule. Properly handle all waste bins and materials, ensuring items are collected, sorted, and disposed of in alignment with company protocols and environmental guidelines.
• Safety Compliance and Hazardous Waste Handling
  Adhere to all safety procedures, with a specific focus on handling hazardous waste materials as needed. This includes following regulations for the disposal of potentially dangerous substances and ensuring that personal protective equipment (PPE) is used at all times. Participate in regular safety training to stay updated on best practices and new industry standards.
• Vehicle and Equipment Inspections
  Perform routine inspections on vehicles and waste collection equipment before and after routes to identify potential maintenance needs. Report any equipment issues to the maintenance team to prevent downtime and ensure a safe working environment. Conducting minor repairs and adjustments on the go is often required to maintain efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience and Skills
  While previous experience in waste disposal or sanitation services is beneficial, it is not required, as we offer comprehensive training for new hires. Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to punctuality, and a desire to contribute positively to team operations.
